​Waltz is a slow but fairly complex dance, danced to a 3:4 beat.
Some of the music for Waltz is amongst our favourite songs & can only be Waltzed to.
​
Your first Waltz course will be enlightening, especially the first 3 or 4 weeks where we will cover the foundation steps, but we are confident Waltz will become one of your favourite dances.

1st hour Beginners... Basics & practice with revision each week
2nd hour Improvers... A greater understanding of Waltz, more practice & fun moves to improve your ability on the dance floor.

With music from the 60's, 70's & even 80's & 90's, you'll love this energetic dance where we mix up classic Jive & Rock'n Roll. Each danced over six beats of music, but 8 steps for Jive & only six for Rock'n Roll. The best of both worlds!

Great fun and body & brain exercise that will keep you young.
Beginners... Basic foundation moves & practice
Improvers... More challenging moves, understanding of movement & all at a bit quicker pace

New Vogue and Sequence dancing was born of people creating practice sequences in various styles. Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot, March etc
These include dances such as Merilyn, Charmaine, Lucille, Excelsior Schottische, Balmoral Blues, Evening Three Step, Parma Waltz, Pride of Erin, Mayfair Quickstep and many more.

Each night we'll teach and practice at least one NV Foxtrot dance depending on the progress of the class, we might dance more than one or, as the course progresses, even revise and practice previously taught ones.
7:30 pm Beginners... Easy NV Foxtrot & Practice elements
8:30 pm Improvers... The higher level dances
