OK so not everyone wants to be a high-level dancer, if they did they would be participating in our Tuesday Technique Class... but as a social dancer you learn all of these dances and in the lesson everyone is doing the same thing at the same time so the whole circle of people (line of dance) travels as one. BUT when you try to use these skills on a social dance floor where everyone is doing their own thing then you have crashes or people in your way.
This workshop is designed to help you cope with other people on the dance floor and to improve basic technique to facilitate better movement which will allow you to change direction at shorter notice and avoid a crash as well as manouvre around other dancers.
The workshop will be based on basic waltz steps and particularly some of the moves that we have done in the current course.
