New Vogue is not a cumulative course, every night is different so you can drop in on any week. However the more New Vogue you know the easier it all gets.

WHAT IS NEW VOGUE?

New Vogue is essentially a routine that someone has made up. The same sequence repeats over and over. New Vogue is not good for a very new dancer. It really helps if you already know what a chasse and lock step is etc.

WHICH DANCES?

We will be teaching a selection of the most popular New Vogue dances ...some sound lame but they are really fun and very valuable to know. Some include, El Paso (sequence dance), Seashells (sequence dance), Evening Threestep, Presidents Daughter's Waltz (PD Waltz), Merilyn (Foxtrot), Pride of Erin (Waltz), Balmoral Blues (Foxtrot), Parma Waltz (Waltz), Swing Waltz, Barclay Blues (Foxtrot) Mayfair Quickstep, Excelsior Schottische (Foxtrot), Tangoette (Tango), Charmaine (Foxtrot) and more.
